e+CancerCare and Opelousas General Health System Announce Radiation Oncology Partnership

NASHVILLE, TN. (December 15, 2016) – e+CancerCare (“e+”) and Opelousas General Health System (“Opelousas General”) announced today the formation of a partnership to consolidate and expand their radiation oncology operations on the Opelousas General Health System South Campus effective immediately. The partnership will manage the hospital’s radiation oncology program while providing the market with the latest technology delivering the most advanced clinical treatments.

Opelousas General will be relocating medical oncology services to the South Campus to complete the comprehensive service offering.

The partnership represents a continuation of e+CancerCare’s strategy of partnering with community health systems. The Opelousas General partnership, an extension of the OncoLogics network,constitutes e+’s fourth hospital partnership in the Acadiana region and their eighth nationwide.
